Therma Katticaran, is an Indian Classical dancer based in Melbourne, Australia.

Therma is a trained in several different classical dance forms of India like the Kalakshetra bani of Bharathanatyam, Mohiniyattam, Kuchipudi, Odissi, Kathak, Kathakali and Mayuranrittam in Gurukulam Samprithayam.
 
She had the immense blessings to have trained under acclaimed Guru’s like Natyacharya Professor Smt. Kalakshetra Vilasini, Sri. Kalamandalam Gopinath, Sisters Smt. Sunitha Satheesh & Smt. Shailaja Sreekumar, Late. Smt. Kamala Rani Athae from Kalakshetra, Smt. Tara Rajkumar OAM from Natyasudha Dance Company,  Smt. Pali Chandra, Smt. Rajashree Behera, Sri Vinaya Chandran, Sri. K.R.Kurup, Kalasree Dr. Sunanda Nair, Smt Geetha Padmakumar, Kalamandalam (RLV) Radhakrishnan and several others. She was fortunate enough to attend workshops and guidance of several eminent Guru's like Late. Legendary Kalamandalam Kalyanikutty Amma and her daughters Smt. Sreedevi Rajan and Smt. Kala Vijayan, Smt Methil Devika, Padmasree Sri Kalamandalam Gopi Master, Late. Legendary Vempati Chinna Satya Garu and his daughter-in-law Smt. Srimayi Vempati Garu, Sri. Kiran Subramaniyam, Smt. Priyadarshini Govind, Smt. Lakshmi Ramaswamy and several others.

She has won the ‘Kalathilakam’ title for many years for the CBSE Youth Festivals, Calicut University Youth festivals, Kerala Government Youth Festivals and also the winner of dance style like Bharathanatyam, Kuchipudi and Odissi at the National Youth festival representing Kerala state.
 
Her passion towards dancing and the sole purpose of imparting the priceless artistic traditions of our country India to the current generations, the true spirit of Art, devoid of obscenity and commercialism, is the reason why she initiated her dream TANISHKA in 2012.

Therma is also professionally trained as a Biotechnology Engineer, and currently working as a Clinical Data Manager in the Research & Healthcare Industry in Australia.
